Abendmusik logo“Abendmusik” is a German word, meaning “an evening concert, usually taking place in a church.”  Past performers include Grammy Award Winning Artist GEORGE WINSTON; RANDY ARMSTRONG; SIRENS’ SONG; International Award Winning Organists, KATELYN EMERSON AND JENNIFER MCPHERSON; THE CHARLIE JENNISON JAZZ QUARTET; THE NEW ENGLAND GOSPEL ENSEMBLE; AND MANY, MANY MORE.

Through the Abendmusik series the Rye Congregational Church offers to the community an opportunity to hear the very finest chamber music north of Boston, and at a fraction of the cost. The church enjoys sharing its warm acoustic sanctuary, 24-rank pipe organ, and excellent seven-foot Schimmel grand piano with the community through the series. Abendmusik is a nonprofit, all-volunteer effort. Donations are accepted at the door. All are welcome to a reception immediately following each concert. For more information or for series sponsorship opportunities, contact the church office at (603) 964-4061 or David Wold, Artistic Director, at (603) 828-6402.
